This hefty scourge has seven tails, the tips of which are weighted with cold-iron ingots. It has been crafted specifically for battling demons and undead monsters and is even more effective when wielded by a paladin or demonologist.
This hefty scourge has seven tails, the tips of which are weighted with cold-iron ingots. It is able to strike creatures for which weapons of +2 or better are needed to hit. Furthermore, versus denizens of the Abyss or chaotic evil undead, the weapon is +2 to hit and damage, and will inflict double base damage (2-8/2-4).
Any such creature struck by the scourge when it is wielded by a demonologist or a paladin will also be subjected to a magical fear, against which it must save at -2 (magic resistance withstanding), or flee in terror at top speed for a full turn.
