Each November there are hundreds of thousands who try, a few dozen thousand who succeed, at making 50,000 cohesive words in 30 days. A monumental feet as you have to write nearly 2000 words a day to get that done. I have suited up to take this challenge, and by doing so have kissed any sleep I would get this month good bye. As of this writing I am at 5353 words written, I need 11,666 to be on pace. I have definitely gone through some serious caffeine.

What is the hardest part? Not being able to start writing before the opening bell, that is called cheating. I did not strike my first key until 12:30 AM Nov 1. Actually the hardest part is writing on an internet connected computer. Facebook, Deviantart, Youtube, and many more wandering monster block my path to be on pace. I do have a small excerpt I can share, a fun little scene reminding you to pay your tabs. Cut from a few paragraphs to keep the plot under wraps, though I can say that the story is about how the world can be affected by a good person.

**Roaring, he single handedly tosses a solid oak table, meant to easily seat eight people, completely end over end. The funeral feast has left much to clean, and the night is not getting any younger.

“Holt, remind me to make sure my tab is paid up.”

“Sure thing Quigley. I may just pay mine as well.”

They both duck a little with slightly cowed looks as Wulfgar heads back to the kitchen, waiting that last moment to drink their ales and return to the conversation at hand.**
