‘City Builder’ Platinum Edition Update #47: Almost There!

Intro_Color_Reduced.jpg

We are excited to announce that Skirmisher Publishing’s team is in the process of finalizing the complete, 85-place, 240-page PDF edition of City Builder: A Guide to Designing Communities and expect to release it within the next week! Our editors are doing a final pre-release proof of the text and artist Amanda Kahl is finishing up the Founders’ Monument illustration that will appear near the front of the book (and just finished the one that will accompany the Introduction, which appears above). As soon as we finish these last two steps we will make the book available and let you know that it is.

++ If you have already obtained from DriveThruRPG a copy of the 70-place, 192-page PDF edition of City Builder using one of the codes we provided previously — in both a direct mailing and in Update #41 — then you will be able to simply download the new file once we update it. If you have not previously obtained it that is no problem at all, and you can do so anytime between now and when we announce the release of the book or after we do (at which point we will provide you with the $0.00 download code once again in case you missed it when we sent it out before).

++ Once we release the PDF edition of the book we will take a week or so to let backers enjoy it and have the opportunity to provide feedback to us, after which we will begin the print approval process with DriveThruRPG. Then, once it is available in print there, we will immediately send instructions on how to obtain it to backers who will be receiving it as a reward.

* Please be sure to let us know if you catch any typos or other minor errors in the interim version of the consolidated book or any of the individual volumes that you have obtained! There are now more than 120,000 words associated with this publication and we don’t want anything unwanted to slip through into the print edition. If you catch anything and email it to us at CityBuilder@skirmisher.com we will gladly thank you by sending you copies of some of our other publications as a sign of appreciation.

That’s it for now! We sincerely hope you are excited as we are that we have moved this project to the point it is at and are pleased that we are almost there.
