Skirmisher's ‘The Call of CthulWho’ First Stretch Goal Unlocked!

Iä! Iä! CthulWho Fhtagn! Thanks to all 55 of the great people who have backed Skirmisher Publishing’s campaign for “The Call of CthulWho” and funded it more than 200%! That means we are now able to both cover the production costs for this complete, self-standing, fully-illustrated MythosPunk RPG adventure and to provide the first of the great stretch goals we created for it.

● Hitting the $1,000 mark for this campaign will allow us to provide backers with a full set of electronic tokens and avatars for the character monsters and various guards, scientists, and other creatures associated with this scenario. We will also provide the custom maps for the scenario as separate graphics files, all of which will help make it even easier to run the adventure online or on virtual tabletops.

Shown here are a token and avatar for the Mi-Go monster player character that appears in “The Call of CthulWho.”

● When we reach the $1,500 mark for this campaign, we will provide backers with an annotated list of quirky details storytellers can use to customize areas both within and beyond the prison and research complex that appears in the scenario. These details — similar to those that appear in our bestselling “100 Oddities” series of system-free sourcebooks — will be accompanied by at least one custom illustration and allow storytellers to more easily include additional encounter areas and run this adventure as an extended campaign.

● “The Call of CthulWho” is an offbeat Mythos horror scenario that contains everything needed to play it, including basic and special rules and pregenerated characters, and uses the engine from the bestselling rules-light TSRPG (Travel-Sized RPG) narrative game system.

++ Backers who enjoy this scenario and the associated TSRPG system can continue to use both to tell their own stories and to enjoy the other fantasy, horror, post-apocalyptic science fiction, modern, and urban fantasy adventures we have created for it.

Thanks again to everyone who has already supported this project and helped make it possible! And if you are following this campaign but not yet backed it now is the perfect time to do so, and to start helping to unlock more of the great stretch goals we are creating for it.
