Starfinder: Scazz

See this content in the original post

The Scazz fill the niche of wolves on their homeworld, running in packs and hunting during the twilight and dark hours. The creatures are about 4 feet in length and typically weigh around 150 pounds. They have a distinctly rat-like appearance, and have long claws on their feet and powerful jaws to bite.

When they engage in combat, they always tend to work in unison, with at least two attempting to bite a targets limbs to prevent them from using any weapons they might be carrying, or if that does not seem to work, they will leap at a target and try to knock it to the ground.

These creatures are predators, make no bones about that. Because they tend to hunt in packs, they are able to take down other, tougher creatures such as the Phillak, which they tend to share the mountains with. They are not above targeting and hunting various humanoids or other creatures either, as they seem to have bottomless pits for stomachs and are almost always hungry.

Due to their ability to burrow, it is not uncommon for the creatures to get past barriers such as walls or doors, although they cannot burrow through metal or thick concrete, but a shallow layer is not much of a impediment.
